How can I trust a stranger?
Every profile is manually verified before publication. Owners can rate a sitter after a stay, and you can arrange a meet-and-greet before entrusting your pet.
Is it free?
Signing up and searching for sitters is free. To message a sitter, a premium access of CHF 59 for 6 months is required (no further commitment, no automatic renewal).
What happens in an emergency?
In an emergency, the sitter immediately contacts the owner and a vet. Civil liability rests with the sitter, who declares having taken out insurance. Animooo provides no coverage.
What is the cancellation policy?
Animooo is not a party to the pet-sitting agreement: cancellation terms are agreed directly with the sitter before the stay. A booking system with built-in cancellation terms is coming soon.
Who pays in the event of damage?
Any damages are the exclusive responsibility of the sitter, who declares holding personal liability insurance. Animooo provides no insurance and assumes no liability.
Can my sitter come to my home?
Absolutely! Home boarding and drop-in visits are both available. Your pet stays in their familiar environment.
How does payment work?
For now, payment is arranged directly with the sitter at the time of the service (cash, bank transfer, Twint...). Integrated online payment and booking are coming soon to the platform.
